Hello!  
     My name is Ms Connie Bennett and this will be my 15th year teaching at Norfolk Public Schools.  I received my Bachelors degree in K-12 Art Education and Masters degree in English as a Second Language at Wayne State College. 
     I am currently teaching art at Grant, Lincoln and Washington Elementary schools.  I also teach Art Fundamental classes at Norfolk Senior High.  Art has been my passion for many years and I feel blessed that I am able to share it with my students

When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family.  I have two children and 3 grandsons!  While my children and their families do not live in Norfolk we are still close enough that we can see each other on a somewhat regular basis.  Thanks to the age of technology we manage to stay close through facebook , twitter and other social media during the school year.   Then there are my pups......meet Ozzie and Benny!  They are great company and have been with me almost as long as I have been teaching.  My interests outside of school include gardening, reading and good friends.
